The challenge

The Very Group, a UK multi-brand digital retailer with £2.13 billion in annual sales, needed to manage over one million digital assets across a multi-brand, multi-device ecosystem spanning desktops, tablets, smart TVs and voice assistants. Its legacy Scene7 system could not scale to deliver relevant content to the right customer at the right moment across emerging touchpoints.

The solution

The Very Group moved to Amplience, using Content Hub (DAM) to manage its library of over one million assets and Dynamic Media to optimise delivery on any device. The partnership expanded into a Content-as-a-Service strategy powered by Dynamic Content (enterprise headless CMS), enabling content to be tagged by audience or campaign for personalised delivery at scale.

The results, in context

The Very Group achieved a 9% increase in year-on-year group sales and improved team productivity, including the speed of testing and optimisation. It gained a future-proof content foundation and a streamlined production process able to serve a million online visitors a day.
