The challenge

Shoe Carnival, one of the largest US family footwear retailers with around 400 stores, ran daily promotions and hundreds of monthly product drops but relied on an outdated content management and eCommerce system. Content updates, new builds, category moves and navigation changes all went through a developer ticketing system, creating long lead times that made it hard to react in fast-moving retail.

The solution

Already an Amplience customer before going headless, Shoe Carnival adopted Amplience's full-stack Commerce Experience Platform, an API-first integrated CMS and DAM with automated media and experience delivery, and paired it with Algolia for AI search and discovery, removing developer dependency from content work.

Partnering with Amplience has transformed our online experience by empowering users with the tools necessary to make impactful changes, that drive real results, in real-time.
