PA Digital, behind Spain's Yellow Pages digital services, needed to secure server-side web services consumed by a JavaScript single-page application and to streamline management of multiple APIs, while addressing authorization and rate-limiting requirements across several environments.
The solution
PA Digital deployed Tyk in a hybrid configuration on AWS, integrated into its BeeDigital product, using rate limiting, JWT and auth token support, request and response transformation, and CORS support to manage 20+ APIs from a single platform.
The results, in context
PA Digital manages over 20 APIs through a single Tyk installation, and those APIs handle more than 100,000 requests per day supporting its digital transformation. Each API is duplicated across four environments to ensure robust testing and deployment.
