Case Study: TASA cuts per-receipt reconciliation from two days to two minutes with Fyle
Key results
The challenge
The Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA), an Austin-based non-profit, managed 15 credit cards across 22 employees. Reconciling and coding each receipt took up to two days, and finance staff spent hours each month manually entering transactions into QuickBooks Desktop.
The solution
TASA adopted Sage Expense Management (formerly Fyle) with Visa card integration and a QuickBooks Desktop integration. Employees photograph and code receipts as soon as they are notified of a charge, and transactions sync to QuickBooks.
“Sage Expense Management has allowed us to become more efficient on many levels. The consensus with our users is the ease of taking a picture of the receipt and the ability to code it immediately or shortly after getting a notification of the charge. It has saved so much time.”

The results, in context
According to the published customer story, TASA reduced reconciliation time per receipt from 2 days to 2 minutes and saved 6 to 8 hours a month on manual QuickBooks data entry. Receipts are collected in under 30 minutes, with 65% of text receipts arriving within 30 minutes.
