The challenge

IBM, a long-time practitioner of human-centered design thinking and agile transformation, needed to scale design thinking across globally distributed teams. Coordinating in-person workshops carried significant travel cost and time, and limited how often dispersed teams could collaborate.

The solution

IBM adopted Mural's digital workspace to run remote design thinking workshops so teams could collaborate visually regardless of location. Mural commissioned Forrester Consulting to quantify the economic impact of this use in a Total Economic Impact study of IBM.

Rather than having people travel from all over the globe, we are setting it up on MURAL and will have everyone's attention for 4 hours.
