The challenge

Connectworks, a Netherlands-based IT service provider protecting more than 7,000 endpoints, relied on antivirus tools that could not keep pace with escalating ransomware and identity-based attacks. Near misses through 2022, including a client's narrowly-avoided fraudulent transaction, exposed the limits of its existing defenses.

The solution

Beginning in April 2023, Connectworks rolled out Huntress Managed EDR via an opt-out campaign to nearly all of its roughly 7,000 endpoints, then expanded to Managed ITDR as identity attacks on Microsoft 365 users escalated. The Huntress SOC provided clear, actionable remediation steps and integrated with Autotask.

The Huntress SOC isn't just a bunch of automated alerts. It's real people. They don't just tell you there's a problem—they're there for you, helping you fix it.

The results, in context

Connectworks reported zero endpoint breaches across its nearly 7,000 endpoints and an estimated 30% faster incident response time, which Huntress attributes to its actionable alerts reducing time to resolve issues. Nearly all clients had adopted Managed EDR by December 2023.
