The challenge

HEINEKEN is a global brewer with 85,000+ employees across 85 operating companies in more than 190 countries. Teams in different operating companies lacked visibility into each other's work, so similar training content was produced multiple times and local resources were underused.

The solution

HEINEKEN adopted 360Learning to enable collaborative, peer-led learning and a Collaboration Hub where operating companies could share courses. A certification process helped keep shared content fit for purpose.

This showed us that people were willing to learn when they had the right tools for it and peer learning wasn't just a nice idea.

The results, in context

Learning consumption — the number of unique individuals starting courses — rose 86% over six months compared with twelve months on the previous platform. Teams created 1,200 new courses since go-live, shared 50 courses in the Collaboration Hub within two weeks, and raised 155 Learning Needs in under four months.
