The challenge

Hawaiian Airlines, founded in 1929 and Hawaii's largest airline, wanted to ease the stress of the day-of-travel experience for app users, many of whom were traveling with the airline for the first time.

The solution

Hawaiian Airlines used Airship to orchestrate cross-channel, day-of-travel experiences and became the first airline to launch Live Activities, delivering real-time updates directly in the app.

Traveling is stressful for everyone. A lot of our app users are taking a vacation — maybe it's their first time traveling with us. We put ourselves in our guests' shoes. Whatever we can do to make them feel at ease, we want to take that step forward.
