study setup time eliminated
new studies and sponsors reused across applications

The challenge

Atlantic Research Group (ARG), a contract research organization, managed trial documentation and trip reports through processes that added setup time and QC overhead to each new study. Missing and misfiled trip reports made inspection readiness harder to maintain.

The solution

ARG moved to the Veeva Vault platform, automating trip reports and confirmation letters in Veeva CTMS so they are auto-filed into the eTMF. New studies and sponsors can be added and reused across applications.

Our goal with automation is to free our resources to tackle challenging tasks and solve bigger problems, not reduce headcount.

The results, in context

Moving to the Vault platform eliminated three days of study setup time, as new studies and sponsors can be quickly added and leveraged across applications. Automating the trip-report and confirmation-letter process also removed misfiled and missing reports and supported a constant state of inspection readiness.
