The challenge

As n8n scaled its engineering organization, its security posture grew more complex while tooling stayed fragmented across Dependabot, GitHub code scanning and Snyk. Those tools generated significant noise and weekly emails, with no centralized way to see findings, assign ownership, or enforce resolution SLAs. The company also needed structured evidence for SOC 2 audits.

The solution

n8n adopted Aikido as an early customer, connecting it to GitHub for scanning and to Linear for ticket handover. Every vulnerability Aikido flags (code, Docker images or infrastructure) automatically creates a Linear ticket with an SLA based on severity, and Aikido's integration with Drata helps assemble compliance evidence.

Aikido's main feed is where I spend most of my time. I check it at least five times a week to see what's open, what's urgent, and what's been resolved. It gives me full visibility.

The results, in context

n8n reported 92% less security noise after consolidating its scanners into Aikido, turning security from ad hoc tooling into a tracked process with defined resolution timelines such as 21 days for high-severity findings. The single view reduced the time needed to gather evidence and pass audits.
