Case Study: TransUnion cuts weekly testing from 30 hours to about 2 with Applitools
Key results
The challenge
TransUnion's QA team supported a consumer credit-monitoring subscription service that was moving from once-weekly manual releases toward near-daily continuous deployment. The team relied on hundreds of manual assertions and functional checks for each release, which did not scale with the increased release frequency.
The solution
TransUnion adopted Applitools Eyes for automated visual testing, integrating visual validation snapshots and layout testing into a Python and Selenium regression suite.
“Applitools' customer service and speed of response to technical issues is second to none.”

The results, in context
After adopting Applitools, the QA team reduced the time spent on functional and manual regression testing from about 30 hours a week to roughly 2 hours, and testing per release dropped from around five days to roughly two hours. Hundreds of manual assertions were eliminated in the process.
