The challenge

Gotrade lets investors worldwide buy fractional shares of US companies for as little as one dollar, serving customers in 150 countries who want to use their preferred local payment methods. Previously, Gotrade relied on slow and costly wire transfers that took up to three days, delaying when new users could access funds and start trading.

The solution

Gotrade implemented Rapyd Collect, Virtual Accounts and Disburse so new customers can transfer funds instantly using hundreds of local payment methods, with significantly lower transaction and FX fees and instant transfers into and out of Gotrade accounts.

Once we offer local payment methods in a market, we see an increase in transactions because our platform is more accessible. This increases customer satisfaction, which leads to increased trading, referrals and deposits.
