The challenge

Nova Credit, a fintech that helps newcomers to the U.S. access financial services using their international credit history, had solid website traffic but could not explain why visitors were not converting. Google Analytics surfaced traffic and conversion rates but offered no insight into visitor experience or audience fit.

The solution

Beginning in 2020, Nova Credit deployed a series of targeted in-product surveys through Sprig, triggering them only after a visitor had viewed multiple pages and stayed engaged. The surveys revealed that most visitors did not understand Nova Credit's core offering, prompting a homepage redesign with clearer messaging and country-specific pages.

Sprig has had a large impact, both in terms of the conversion rate and on our brand and communications efforts aimed at downstream behavior.
