Case Study: Contract Repository Reduces Sales Friction & Value Leakage for Chemours
Key results
The challenge
Chemours created and reviewed contracts manually, collaborating over SharePoint without a centralized repository. The company struggled to keep templates updated and ensure stakeholders used correct document versions, and procurement could not correlate contracted terms with invoices and supplier performance data. This drove contract value leakage on the buy-side and slowed the sales cycle.
The solution
After an extensive RFP process, Chemours migrated over 5,000 contracts and 146 templates in eight languages into a centralized Sirion repository. Sirion integrated with Salesforce so the sales team could initiate pre-populated contract requests, built a custom compliance dashboard, and enabled invoice validation against performance data and contracted terms.
“We looked at our contracts as key assets to our business and a risk mitigation tool, and so we wanted to create a program with tools, technology, people, processes, all of those things. So Sirion was the big component to that.”
The results, in context
Chemours reduced contract close time by 62% through the Sirion-Salesforce integration that removed process friction. The company centralized 5,000 contracts and 146 templates in eight languages, uncovered value leakage by validating invoices against performance data, and improved visibility into regulatory obligations.
